Pines & Palms Resort is located on the Atlantic Ocean at mile-marker 80.4 in Islamorada. The resort provides access to activities on or under the water. Guests can access four bodies of water, including Everglades National Park, Florida Bay, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. The resort features an oceanfront freshwater pool, a Tiki Bar, and a private beach area. Guests have access to kayak and bike rentals, private boat docks, and premium sport fishing areas. There is an ocean-side expert offering Reef, Patch, and Deep Sea fishing, along with specialty trips like Tarpon or Dolphin fishing. Virtually any fish can be caught from the shores. The resort is near Theater of the Sea, a marine mammal park, and Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park. Pines & Palms Resort is committed to providing service and personal attention to all guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and breezy. WiFi is available.

Some rooms include a Queen or King bed, a living room with a sofa-bed, and a porch or patio. Some offer a private terrace with ocean views. The suites offer an elevated tropical view from the balcony. Some cottages offer a driveway, gardens, a strip of beach, and a dock. Room 22 is a small one-bedroom accommodation across from the office with a queen size bed and full kitchen. There are rooms with 2 or 3 bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths on two living levels, and ADA rooms are available. Most accommodations have a full kitchen, full bath, living area with sleeper sofa, and covered parking below. Room 5 has an additional single bed.
